How you can stay up to date with football this season

How would you feel after settling down with your friends to watch the UEFA Champions League or FA Cup final between Arsenal and Chelsea and while the players are marching to the pitch, a message pops up on your television screen showing “E16 Error”.

You know what that means, your DStv subscription has expired. Before you open your bank app or rush to your local payment office to renew your subscription, two goals are in under 20 minutes. The pain of hearing the shout of “goal” from the neighborhood is excruciating for a real football fan. If you’re not so lucky, the first half may be over before you finally renew your subscription with the long queues at payment centres and unstable internet if you’re renewing from your Bank app.

That’s definitely not a good way to be a football fan. Like the Boys’ Scout motto ‘Be Prepared’, real football fans prepare ahead against any eventuality and never miss any action from the games of their favourite football teams.

To save you from such an embarrassing and disappointing situation, MultiChoice Nigeria has introduced an auto-renewal payment option for its DStv and GOtv customers. This is the answer to the puzzle of real football fans who want to stay up to date without missing out on any football action.

This new option will help you stay bang up to date with every football action on SuperSport this season and the coming season.

How does it work?

All active and inactive customers on both platforms will now be able to pay and renew their subscriptions automatically by downloading either MyDStv or MyGOtv App, and follow the instructions when they log in.

The Benefit:

The new option is a great way to ensure physical distancing, which is one of MultiChoice Nigeria’s top priority at this critical time when COVID-19 pandemic is still a huge threat. The auto-renewal option also gives customers the opportunity to be billed automatically monthly, quarterly, or annually for their subscriptions, with the choice to cancel at any time.

Why auto-renewal?

The Chief Customer Officer of MultiChoice Nigeria, Martin Mabutho had this to say “Our customers have spoken, and we have listened. It is our responsibility to ensure that our customers are given the most convenient service.”

He added, “Also putting into consideration the health of both our customers and front-facing staff, this will encourage people to make a conscious effort in physical distancing.”
