Nigerian comedian Basketmouth said singer 2face Idibia’s February 6 protest march would have succeeded if other celebs spoke up.
2face pulled out of the march after police apparently intimidated him.

Speaking at the ongoing NECLive5, Basketmouth said it would have been easier for 2face to hold his ground had other celebs spoken up.
“It really pained me that we didn’t,” the A-list comedian said.

The march went ahead but failed to make any serious impact because 2face, whom many Nigerians seemed ready to follow, was missing.
2face wanted to use the protest to talk about issues facing Nigerians.
