Four ‘one chance’ operators using charm to swindle victims arrested in Ogun
Police in Ogun have apprehended four ‘one chance’ operators allegedly using diabolical means to defraud their victims.
Babatunde Adeyemi, Lawal Amoke, Oluwabunmi Okeomo and Ogaode Monday allegedly own a shrine where they deceive their victims into believing their claims.
The suspects, according to the police, were arrested with fake dollars amounting to $99,900 and charms. One Honda Accord vehicle was also recovered from them.
The police was notified of the suspects’ activities late November by their victim’s husband whom they had duped of N1.5 million sum.
The victim said she had boarded their vehicle and they swindled her of N1.5 million with a promise to introduce her to a lucrative phone business. It wasn’t until her husband got wind of the incident and played along with the suspects that they were arrested.
