Enyeama reportedly back in Super Eagles camp
Retiring former Super Eagles captain, Vincent Enyeama, is expected to join the team in Belgium on Saturday.
Enyeama had quit the national team after falling out with coach Sunday Oliseh who named Ahmed Musa, 22, his new captain.
Many Nigerian called Oliseh all manner of names after the row that led to Enyeama’s premature exit.
Oliseh said Enyeama lied to make him look bad before Nigerians.
We’re not sure Enyeama is going to the Belgium camp in order to play for the Eagles on Sunday.
Reports say the out of favour goalie is expected to meet with top officials of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
NFF president Amaju Pinnick initially said the federation would not beg Enyeama to return to the fold.
It is unclear who initiated this move, but reports say Pinnick wants to “salvage the situation.”
Enyeama, 32, has played 101 games for the national side making him the most capped Eagles player.
