Drunk driver rams into commercial bus, kills 4 at Lagos toll gate
A drunk driver caused the death of four persons at the Lekki Toll Gate at about 6:49am Sunday morning.
The driver of a Lexus SUV, identified as Gbeminiyi Odeniyi, rammed into the commercial bus shortly after the bus was cleared by the ticketing officers at the toll gate.
Odeniyi was driving against traffic when he rammed into the bus.
Three adult male and an adult female were killed, while 16 others were injured. The driver of the jeep was transported to the General hospital at Marina.
LASEMA boss, Mr Adesina Tiamiyu urged motorists to endeavour to drive with caution, and abstain from drinking alcohol before driving on the roads.
