Confirmed 2019 Election Result: Atiku picks up the pace as he defeats Buhari in Anambra
Atiku Abubakar has rallied back into the race for the presidential seat by defeating President Muhammadu Buhari in Anambra State.
Anambra is Vice Presidential candidate Peter Obi’s state.
Atiku was able to poll a total of 524,738 votes in the state while Buhari managed to poll a total of 33,298 votes.
The total number of registered voters in Anambra is 2,389,332 while a total of 675,273 voters were accredited.
Total number of votes cast is 625,035 with the total number of valid votes being 605,734.
Rejected votes totalled 19,301.
Atiku has just won his sixth state out of fifteen states (including the FCT) that have so far been announced.
The collation of election results is currently ongoing in Abuja.
