Chris Ihidero’s 3rd Storystory Masterclass holds this April, limited spots available

Chris Ihidero has announced the third of the now-anticipated StoryStory Masterclass series.

To hold from April 16 to April 18, 2018, the workshop that focuses on the art of storytelling will feature a faculty of seasoned professionals versed in the art of storytelling across several media including advertising, screenwriting, poetry, photography, visual arts, editing and others.

StoryStory is open to only creative practitioners who have made an attempt to tell stories; who tell stories through social campaigns, screen writing, audio-visual content producers, content directors, drama series producers, digital marketing consultants and feature editors regardless of how successful those attempts have turned out.

Professionals and industry leaders including Steve Babaeko (advertising guru), Ayeni Adekunle (PR and media expert), Victor Sanchez Aghahowa (TV show writer and creator), Tope Oshin (filmmaker), Femi Ogunsanwo (filmmaker/showrunner), Emmanuel K Uduma (producer and filmmaker) and so on have been some of the facilitators in previous masterclasses since the series began in 2015 at the British Council in Lagos..

StoryStory is organised by Chris Ihidero, a leading filmmaker, TV producer/director who has mastered the craft of storytelling and the workshop is delivered to empower and share knowledge to a class of thirty-five (35) participants, following a rigorous selection process.

Chris Ihidero who has been telling stories professionally for 21 years started out as a theatre actor and director, and he has worked as a theatre artist, broadcaster, newspaper columnist, magazine editor and university lecturer.

In 2015, he was a producer on the ground-breaking HIV and behavioural change focused drama series Shuga Series 4, and he resumed this role on Shuga Series 6 in 2017. Ihidero has directed over 100 hours of TV drama, including Fuji House of Commotion, Tempest and Now we are Married. He has also made two short films, including Big Daddy (2012), a film about rape.

4th Floor Tapa House, 44 Abosede Kuboye Crescent, off Imam Dauda Street, Surulere, Lagos will play host to this edition of the masterclass.
