CHILD RAPE: Electrician, 36, “rapes 13-year-old girl twice” in Lagos
A primary two pupil has been raped twice, allegedly by an electrician identified as Emeka Okoroafor.
The suspect who has been arrested, allegedly committed the crime in Ijora Badia area of Lagos State.
Okoroafor allegedly lured the 13-year-old girl into his apartment at two different times and sexually assaulted her at knife point.
The girl was reportedly raped for the first time on Thursday, April 19, after the suspect allegedly asked her to bring a bucket into his room.
The following day, when the victim was playing with her friends, 36-year-old Okoroafor allegedly took her into his apartment and raped her again.
The victim’s mother, Asabi Abubakar, reported the case to the police. Asabi said she had gone to a mosque to observe 4pm prayer when the incident happened. She said she saw her daughter’s slippers at Okoroafor’s doorsteps.
Asabi said she became suspicious after Okoroafor’s refusal to open his door when she knocked.
“My son peeped into his apartment and saw her under his mattress. We saw sperm on her lap and private parts.” Asabi added.
