BREAKING! Acting President Osinbajo listens to Nigerians, orders overhaul of SARS
Acting President Yemi Osinbajo has responded to Nigerian citizens’ cries about SARS harassment and extortion by ordering a total overhaul of the police unit with immediate effect.
Osinbajo gave the order in a statement on Tuesday, saying that a new unit which will be intelligence driven and restricted to the prevention and detection of armed robbery and kidnapping should be created.

It is Osinbajo’s second authoritative decision as Acting President in as many weeks, following the sack of DSS boss, Lawal Daura.
Nigerians will, however, hope that the order is respected and followed through by the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris.
