Bloody violence in Lagos over “rigging” of prostitutes association election
So we heard that Nigerian prostitutes’ bid to elect their next leader over the weekend turned bloody.
The 2015 election of National Association of Nigerian Prostitutes (NANP) degenerated into a brawl over claims the polls were rigged.
The election was held on Saturday but the violence did not start until a day later after the results were announced.

According to Daily Post, former NANP secretary Jessica Elvis Elvis polled 300 votes to defeat the incumbent, Madam Felix Efoyo, who garnered 153 votes. Nasarawa State coordinator, Tamar Tion managed 63 votes.
Trouble started after the incumbent rejected the outcome of the election, alleging that she was rigged out.
After the 2015 electoral committee chairman, Franca ‘Top Up’ Chikam declared Elvis winner, the incumbent, Madam Efoyo reportedly ordered for a fresh election.

An argument started. A fight broke out. Someone believed to be loyal to the incumbent broke a bottle and stabbed a fellow prostitute.
