A 32-year-old banker identified as Peace has reportedly committed suicide by drinking liquid insecticide “Sniper” over her husband’s alleged infidelity.
The deceased, a resident at Market road, Iwhrekpokpor, Ughelli, Delta State and mother of two, reportedly took the liquid over her husband’s continual stay away from home.
Reports say the deceased, who worked with one of the new generation banks along Market Road, Ughelli, gulped the liquid at her residence on Wednesday.
“The couple had separated before their families reconciled them recently, despite the reconciliation, her husband continued to stay away from home,” a source said.
