Toure had to beat off competition from Algeria’s Yacine Brahimi, the 2014 winner, as well as Gabon’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Ghanaian Andre Ayew and Senegal’s Sadio Mane in an African fan vote.
After deliberating extensively for four days, an all white jury found him guilty of 18 of the charges and recommended a total of 263 years imprisonment.
The commissioner added that the health challenge was as a result of the issues associated with traffic congestion such as pollution of the environment.
