It’s official! Britons don’t want to see Donald Trump again
It’s becoming more obvious that many in the United Kingdom do not want to see Donald Trump on UK soil again.
The petition to ban the US presidential hopeful from the UK has become the most-signed ever on the government’s website.
As at the time of compiling this report, the petition had garnered 526,960 votes.
“At its peak, the petition was lengthening by more than seven signatures a second and users experienced difficulties accessing the page due to higher than usual traffic,” Evening Standard reports.
The previous top spot was held by a petition earlier this year calling for the UK to accept more asylum seekers and increase refugee support, which was signed 446,924 times..
