Uganda nurse complained about poor facilities at her hospital, now she’s been suspended

Adong Santina showed opposition presidential candidate, Kizza Besigye, around the hospital where she works on Saturday, December 5, 2015 and complained about the state of the facilities.
Now she has been suspended alongside two others as she awaits further discipline.
The Chief Administrative Officer of the said hospital in Abim, Mr. Moses Kaziaba Nandhala, who signed the letter, is believed to have embezzled about $250,000 allocated to health in Abim district in the north-eastern Karamoja region, Uganda.
He reportedly told a parliamentary accounts committee that the records of how the money was spent had been eaten by termites.
Ms Santina told Mr Besigye, in the presence of television crew covering his campaign, that the hospital was operating without a qualified doctor.

Another nurse said they had no power at all and water had to be fetched.
The nurses are trying to appeal against their suspension, BBC reports.
Mr Besigye, 59, is running against President Yoweri Museveni, 70, in elections due next year..
