ASUU denies report that it intends to embark on another strike
The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU has denied earlier reports that suggested that it might be embarking on another strike after calling off the three-month strike less than a month ago.
The union took to Twitter Monday morning to reverse earlier tweet that suggested that it will go on another strike soon. It was revealed that the announcement that was made on Sunday was not coming from ASUU authorities.

ASUU reiterated that it was committed to the agreement it signed with the Federal Government which aims at resolving issues concerning the staff welfare which led to the strike in the first place.
The Federal Government had reached an agreement with ASUU to call off the strike in February with the promise that all their grievances will be resolved.
