Anger, tears as Chibok parents blasts Mama Taraba, meets Buhari

No less than 108 Chibok parents, whose teenage daughters Boko Haram kidnapped in 2014, “invaded” Aso Rock in Abuja.

The parents, Thursday, say they will not leave until President Muhammadu Buhari shows up and hear their demand.

Yes, they have no other demand from Nigeria’s Commander-In-Chief other than he rescue the schoolgirls alive.

Buhari had earlier said he can’t say if the girls are alive. He also said Nigeria cannot claim victory over Boko Haram until the girls are united with their parents.

NewsroomNG gathered the government sent buses to convey the parents to a location inside Aso Rock. The parents were disappointed when they found out Buhari was not at the meeting.

Buhari was reported to be busy with other things.

Other high-ranking government officials are addressing the parents who insist they’ll go nowhere till the president shows up.

Buhari later showed up and is meeting with the parents away from the curious eyes of the media.
