Aisha Buhari makes another bold claim, says President not in firm control

Aisha Buhari is not done critiquing her husband’s government.

The Wife of the President in another seemingly honest disclosure has said President Muhammadu Buhari is really not in charge of the country’s affairs.

In fact, Aisha blamed the situation on “two powerful individuals” working closely with Buhari. She said the individuals were serving as hindrance for Buhari to perform better than he currently is.

Mrs. Buhari did not name the saboteurs who she said were notorious for slowing things down.

She commended her husband for achieving a lot, in spite of the saboteurs’ behind-the-scene activities.

She further left room for speculation by saying she was angered that men who were supposed to fight the saboteurs on Buhari’s behalf were running to them for favours.

Aisha, speaking at the National Women Leadership Summit in Abuja on Tuesday, said the truth needed to be told, despite that her assertion made Buhari’s political adviser Senator Babafemi Ojodu uncomfortable.

It is not the first time she would openly criticise her husband and his party’s performance.
