2019 election: Atiku makes early promises to provide better welfare for the masses
After his emergence as the PDP presidential candidate for the 2019 election, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has started making early promises.
He said in a tweet Monday morning that his government would ensure it makes life easier for the masses.
“Our task is clear, and it is to ensure every Nigerian can earn a decent living, get a job, create wealth and live peacefully anywhere they reside in this blessed country. We will do this together,” he said.

In 2015, President Buhari also pledged that he belonged to everybody and to nobody. It is widely believed that Atiku would pose the biggest threat to Buhari’s ambition to return to office next year.
The presidential election holds February 16, 2019.
