Driver in Anthony Joshua accident charged for reckless driving, granted N5m bail
The Magistrate Court in Sagamu, Ogun State, has granted bail to Adeniyi Mobolaji Kayode, the driver involved in the Lexus SUV crash that included former world heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua.
Kayode was arraigned on Friday by the police on four charges: dangerous driving causing death, reckless and negligent driving, driving without due care and attention, and operating a vehicle without a valid national driver’s license.
The court set Kayode’s bail at N5 million, with two sureties required. He was remanded at the correctional facility pending the fulfillment of the bail conditions.
