Woman, using a hatchet, attacks man for refusing to have sex with her
A 26-year-old woman has been arrested after she assaulted a man for refusing to have sex with her, police in Florida say.
Leslie Mills faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, felony and misdemeanor domestic battery.
According to police, Mills had returned to her Ocala, Florida home after a hard night of drinking.
She reportedly woke up her victim whose identity and relationship to her is unknown, and began badgering him for sex.
Not interested, the man moved out onto the couch to sleep, but she reportedly followed and straddled him, refusing to take no for an answer.
The man told the police he eventually sought refuge in the bathroom, locking the door behind him, as Mills wouldn’t let off.
She reportedly managed to force the door open and charged at the victim with an hatchet. He however managed to wrestle the weapon from her before fleeing from the house to call the police.
Responding officers noted that Mills, who appeared drunk, was “dressed in just a bathrobe” when they encountered her outside the home.
Mills has since been freed on $5500 bond. She is scheduled for a July 26 court hearing..
