Woman gets bathed with acid by younger ex-Lover
A lady, Nkiru Okoye is lying critically burnt in hospital after her Ex lover allegedly attacked her in Anambra state.
Reports say the lady was formally married but broke up with her spouse before falling in love with her recent estranged ex-lover.
Their relationship was said to have suffered a strain after the man’s family said they won’t allow their son to marry any lady older than him. Even though Nkiru ‘understood’ the position of things, the young man was reported to have disagreed with his family.
According to one Tobenna Obiano, things got worse when Nkiru Informed the young man to part ways with her and respect the decision of their family, and their excuse with the age issue, but the man disagreed and insisted that if he doesn’t end up with her no one else would.
Multiple sources revealed that the young man had sneaked into her room at night and tried to strangle her, but she was rescued by her neighbours. The lady, however, failed to lay any complaint to the Local Vigilante or the Police.
The young man again sneaked through the back door when the lady was about to unlock her door, and on getting access to his victim, he poured on her a bowl of raw acid from her neck region, ear, back section and breast.
He again poured the acid on her extending from her back down to all-over her buttocks and even towards her laps.
Nkiru is now receiving treatment at an Orthopedic hospital in Enugu state after she was transferred from a hospital in Awka, Anambra State.
