Woman dies in wall collapse
Two women were trapped under a collapsed wall in Douglas Valley, Bloemfontein, South Africa on Wednesday.
One of them, said to be in her forties, died from the extensive injuries she sustained while the other, aged 19, is still receiving treatment for the “critical injuries” she sustained.
Spokesperson for Netcare 911, Chris Botha, said bystanders had pulled the injured from under the collapsed wall before paramedics arrived at the scene.
It is not yet known what led to the collapse..
