Head of Police Complaints Rapid Response Unit, ACP Abayomi Shogunle explains the new role of operatives of the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) following an order for reform by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
Abayomi says the operatives will no longer roam the streets in mufti, nor conduct stop and search operations.
Citizens are advised to be wary of men still parading in mufti and conducting random searches under the guise of being SARS operatives.
