WATCH: Motorists panic, make quick detour as fuel tanker falls near Otedola bridge
Motorists and commuters entered panic mode Monday evening when a fuel laden tanker fell around Otedola bridge end of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
Car drivers had to make a quick detour to avoid any unfortunate incidents that could arise from the fallen tanker.
A similar incident led to the loss of several lives and vehicles late June, when a tanker exploded after losing control and spilling its content on the bridge.
There have been no effective laws guiding the movement of tankers and articulated trucks on Lagos roads despite the mishaps they continue to cause.
