WATCH: Desperate father stabs 2-year-old daughter, threatens estranged wife over child custody
A 37-year-old man from Arkansas, Theodis Coleman was caught on police bodycam stabbing his daughter.
Coleman and his estranged wife had earlier had a row over their daughter’s custody. And according to a report, he threatened to kill his estranged wife and her family, should they attempt to gain the custody of his daughter.
While their row got intense, Coleman’s child’s mother called the police, and as Jonesboro police were responding to the domestic dispute call, their bodycam footage captured the moment Coleman stabbed his daughter.
In the video, Theodis told his estranged wife who was carrying their 2-year-old daughter that she should not have called the police, then he pulled a steak knife and lunged towards her and their child.
“He just stabbed me,” the mother of the child can be heard saying as the suspect in the video is being handcuffed.
“My baby is f***ing bleeding,” the mother is heard saying above her child’s scream.
One of the policemen at the scene, however, commanded Coleman to put the knife with him down and get on the ground.
