The Railway Police Station in Mushin area of Lagos leaves very little to be desired about the facade of the building.
Other than the unmistakable sign post that describes the wooden structure as a police station, one can easily mistake it to be a trader’s kiosk.
It’s mind-blowing to imagine having this kind of building as a police station anywhere in Lagos, the centre of excellence.
It begs the question whether this is deliberate or the station is starved of fund to upgrade the building.
We couldn’t confirm if the station has any cells, where suspects can be held in custody.
The station is by far the easiest place to carry out a prison break, and it gets worse when you’re in Mushin, which is notorious for a myriad of unending gang violence.
