Kidnappers whose victims die in their custody will get the capital punishment while those whose victims do not die will get life sentences, Lagos lawmakers have decided.
The decomposing body of kidnapped female lecturer, Christie Agbulu from the Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi has been found, despite her abductors receiving a ransom.
The Lagos State House of Assembly yesterday enforced death sentence for kidnappers in the state, however with a clause that “if their victims die in captivity.”
