September 6, 2016
Fourteen oil workers abducted in Rivers State, may not regain freedom till their kidnappers get a N100 million ransom.
The kidnappers reportedly contacted some families of the hostages asking them to make the sum available if they wanted their loved freed.
The armed kidnappers had hijacked a bus conveying the oil workers — employees of Nestoil Plc — from Omoku to Port Harcourt last Friday.
The kidnapping reportedly happened around 12:20pm along the Omoku-Elele road. The kidnappers then drove the vehicle to another location before ordering the workers into the bush.
