Security guard remanded in prison over phone theft

Nnaemeka Onyeamachi, a security guard who was arrested for allegedly stealing a mobile phone, was on Tuesday arraigned in Kado Grade, Area 1 Court, Abuja.
He was reported by one Ebiloma Adejoh of Wuse Zone 5 Abuja, at the Utako Police Station.
The prosecutor, Judith Obatomi, said Nnaemeka stole the mobile phone belonging to a customer at Ontario Green Park and Garden, a relaxation centre at Abuja.
She said that during the police investigation, the phone was discovered with the defendant. Nnaemeka pleaded not guilty to the two-count of trespass and theft.
The judge, Alhaji Ahmed Ado, granted him bail in the sum of N50,000 with a surety, and adjourned the case till September 19, 2018 for hearing.
