Reuben Abati: “Spiritual side of Aso Rock” comes for ex-presidential spokesman’s libido

After running his mouth about how some diabolical powers make Aso Rock dwellers lose their lives, health and libido, former presidential spokesperson Reuben Abati has been arrested.

Reports, however, say Abati, who worked with former President Goodluck Jonathan, was arrested over alleged ties to the multimillion naira DasukiGate scandal.

Abati was “nabbed” on Monday and is reportedly being questioned for allegedly receiving some money from former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, whom the Nigerian government continue to “unlawfully” detain.

Some Nigerians are joking on Facebook after the journalist was arrested to go show where demons hide inside Aso Rock.

After Abati’s arrest, Jonathan said his administration didn’t fight corruption as “noisily” as President Buhari is doing.

There are now four of Jonathan’s former aides who have been arrested by the Buhari regime.

The government is using the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to wage its anti-corruption war, so called.

Former Minister of State for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro, is on the list. So is “rabid” Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Jonathan campaign spokesperson. Former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Bala Mohammed, is also being detained by the EFCC.

Jonathan said Dasuki did not steal $2.2 billion from the country’s treasury as Buhari’s government alleged.

Buhari has failed to probe members of his own cabinet who have been accused of corruption. One of them is transport minister Rotimi Amaechi who allegedly offered bribe to judges to sway a governorship election.
