President Tinubu sacks 5 ministers, reassigns 10 others
President Bola Tinubu has sacked five Ministers from his presidential cabinet. This information was disclosed by the Presidency following the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting held at the State House, Abuja, on Wednesday.
Minister of Women Affairs, Uju Kennedy; Minister of Tourism, Lola Ade-John; Minister of Education, Tahir Mamman; Minister of State for Housing and Development, Abdullahi Tijjani Gwarzo and Minister of Youth, Jamila Bio Ibrahim are the ministers affected.
The president has also reassigned the portfolios of ten members of his cabinet.
They include John Enoh, minister of sports development; Yusuf Sununu, minister of state for education; and Ayodele Olawande, minister of state for youth development; Morufu Alausa, minister of state for health; and Abubakar Momoh, minister of Niger Delta development.
Others are Uba Ahmadu, minister of state steel development; Doris Uzoka-Anite, minister of industry, trade and investment; Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, minister of state for police affairs; Bello Goronyo, minister of state for water resources and sanitation; and Salako Adeboye, minister of state for environment.
