President Tinubu in Lagos for Christmas, New Year Holidays
Hours after presenting the 2025 budget of N47.9 trillion to a joint session of the National Assembly, Nigerian President Bola Tinubu departed Abuja for Lagos, where he is expected to spend the Christmas and New Year holidays.
This information was revealed through a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
Onanuga disclosed that the Governor of Lagos, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Deputy Governor, Obafemi Hamzat, and cabinet members received the President at the airport.
The statement revealed that Tinubu touched down at the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, at about 3:23 pm on Wednesday.
“President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Lagos State to spend the Christmas and New Year holidays.
Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Deputy Governor, Obafemi Hamzat, and cabinet members received the President at the Presidential Wing of Murtala Mohammed International Airport.
Before his departure to Lagos, President Tinubu presented the 2025 budget, totaling N47.9 trillion, before a joint session of the National Assembly in Abuja,” the statement read.
