Police Called to Jeff Bezos Mansion over Kris Jenner Birthday Party
Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday celebration was so extravagant that it sparked multiple noise complaints from residents in Beverly Hills, prompting police intervention on Saturday night.
The lavish party hosted by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and fiancée Lauren Sánchez at their $165 million Beverly Hills mansion, drew a long list of Hollywood elite. But the festivities were so loud that neighbours repeatedly called authorities to complain about booming music coming from the property. The sound levels were “through the roof,” largely due to a high-energy live performance by Bruno Mars that had guests dancing into the night.
Beverly Hills enforces strict residential noise regulations, particularly after 10 p.m., and authorities reportedly issued a warning after speaking with security staff at the event.
However, officers returned later in the evening over a separate issue: large decorative hedges placed outside the residence to block public access to the street. The temporary setup allegedly required a permit that had not been secured.
The Bond-themed soirée celebrated the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch’s milestone birthday and attracted some of the world’s biggest names in entertainment and society. Among those in attendance were Oprah Winfrey, Adele, Mariah Carey, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Paris Hilton, Snoop Dogg, Gayle King, Niecy Nash, Sarah Paulson, and Naomi Watts each dressed in glamorous attire befitting the 007-inspired theme.
Despite the complaints, the celebration continued to make headlines as one of the most glittering Hollywood events of the year.
