PHOTOS: VP Yemi Osinbajo narrowly escapes death as chopper crash lands in Kogi
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has narrowly escaped death after his chopper crash landed in Kogi State Saturday afternoon.
Osinbajo had left Abuja for Kogi to continue the reelection campaign for President Buhari’s government when the incident occurred.
The Vice President, thankfully, came out of the crash unscathed.
“All thanks and glory to God, the chopper we boarded today from Abuja just crash landed in Kabba, Kogi State, and the entire crew plus myself are all safe,” Osinbajo said shortly after the life threatening incident.
He has now proceeded to continue with the campaign.
“Prof. Osinbajo is now in Kabba after the incident and continuing his engagements in the State, engaging the people on the Next Level plan of the Buhari administration,” his spokesperson, Laolu Akande, said in a statement made available to Neusroom.
The Presidential election is exactly two weeks away from today.
