One dead, several others injured in Osun pharmacy explosion
An explosion at Ebenco Pharmacy, a popular pharmaceutical company in the ancient town of Ile-Ife, Osun State, was said to have left someone dead on Saturday night.
The explosion which occurred around 10:30pm, brought down the pharmacy located at number 101b Moore area of the town.
Goods worth millions of naira in the pharmacy store, were also said to have been affected as the building was razed to ground.
Several other persons were left injured following the incident which sparked pandemonium in the area.
Confirming the incident, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Mrs Folasade Odoro (DSP) said the cause of the incident was still unknown.
