The Ondo State Commissioner for Environment and Mineral Resources, Chief Olusola Ebiseni has resigned his position, Monday morning.
His resignation, reports say, is a result of his intention to contest the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
Ebiseni reportedly tendered his resignation letter a few minutes past eight on Monday.
In it, he thanked Governor Olusegun Mimiko for giving him the opportunity to serve the state as a commissioner for the last six years as a commissioner.
Chief Sola Ebiseni has been Chairman of Ilaje/Ese Odo local government and the Ondo State Law Commission. His resignation brings to an end his third stint as Commissioner for Environment in the state.
The gubernatorial election in Ondo state is billed to take place on November 26, 2016..
