Nollywood actress “Laury White” wins record-breaking Paralympics gold

Nigerian athlete Lauritta Onye threw a shot put 8.40m to Paralympics gold in Rio. Her performance also broke the world record in the category.

She’s one of Nigeria’s Paralympians who, unlike their “able-bodied” countrymen who managed to win only bronze in Rio, are doing the country proud.
Accolades continue to pour him for Nigeria’s Paralympians who already have six golds, two silvers and one bronze medal.
At London 2012, Nigerian Paralympians won 13 medals. The ones at Olympics won nothing.
