NDLEA officer with expectant wife killed by hit-and-run driver in Jigawa
An officer of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Ogbennewo Oluwanifemi, has been killed by a hit-and-run driver in Jigawa.
State police spokesperson, Ankeli Adah, said on Thursday that Oluwanifemi was killed while on duty at exact 6:30 pm on Monday around Beguwa and Ringim highway.
Adah also added that deceased, who was a Senior Narcotic Agent and was attached to Ringim Area command of NDLEA, is left with an aged mother, one sister, expectant wife and four brothers.
The police spokesman described Oluwanifemi as a dedicated and committed officer. He said investigation was ongoing to apprehend the driver who hit him.
