National Assembly will no longer reconvene on Tuesday

The Senate will no longer reconvene on Tuesday as Deputy Speaker of the House, Mr Yussuff Lasun suggested last week.

Lasun had said that the lawmakers would reconvene to consider the budget for the 2019 polls and other pending issues forwarded by President Buhari last month.

Punch, however, reports that the House of Representatives’ spokesman, Abdulrazak Namdas, said on Monday that the House had yet to decide on a reconvening date.
