“My wife is a professional prostitute, she sends nudes to men” – Man alleges
A man simply identified as Tirimisiyu, has on Tuesday, denied all the allegations leveled against him by his wife, Modupe.
Modupe had petitioned her husband of being lackadaisical to her welfare, with claims that he has since neglected his responsibility as her husband since they got married.
Modupe added that her husband had subjected her to hunger and steady assault.
“Ever since I married him, I have not seen or enjoyed any care or love as he deliberately refused to take up his responsibility.
“Worst still, Tirimisiyu does not hesitate to punch me at any given opportunity. He is such a difficult spouse to live with as my life means nothing to him.” Modupe added.
Modupe’s husband, however, did not deny her claims, but blamed it on her infidelity and extra-marital affairs.
Tirimisiyu said he has caught Modupe a couple of times in adulterous acts and has been reporting her to family members and relatives.
“Modupe is smarter than me because I had no evidence to show the people I reported her to,” he lamented.
Tirimisiyu further presented two phones to the court, which he said Modupe uses to communicate with her lovers.
He said, “The nude picture of Modupe that she posted to her lovers when she talks to them in the night.
“My Lord, you will see various love messages, terrible pictures, description of how they enjoyed their romantic times, sexual intercourse and all sorts in the phones.”
The 11-year-old marriage between the couple was dissolved by a Customary Court in Ibadan.
Terminating their union, the court said the divorce was as a result of adultery on the part of the woman and some irreconcilable differences.
The court’s president, Chief Henry Agbaje, who made the pronouncement, awarded custody of the children to Modupe, saying “Tirimisiyu shall pay a monthly allowance of N4000 each for the feeding of the two children in addition to being responsible for their education and other welfare.”
