Mentally challenged woman gives birth to baby in Delta State
A mentally challenged woman was on Thursday, September 7, 2017 delivered of a baby by the roadside at Adeniyi road, Sapele, Delta State.
The woman was reportedly discovered by a trader who sold plantain on the roadside after she had gone into labour but started to scream when she noticed that her placenta wasn’t coming out.
This attracted the attention of a nurse who owns a pharmacy and a doctor around the area, who came around and aided in the safety of both mother and child.
She was later taken to Dr. Ugochukwu’s clinic and her relatives were contacted.
