Man loses eyes after acid attack over land dispute in Anambra
A young man, identified as Emmanuel, was reportedly left blinded after he was doused with acid over land dispute in Anambra.
The incident reportedly occurred in a village in Atani in Ogbaru local government area of the state.
Reports say one Wike Ugonna, on May 10, attacked Emmanuel after the latter’s family had approached the suspect’s family to use a part of their farmland in the community.
Wike’s family reportedly turned down the request and it created a friction between both families.
Wike allegedly approached Emmanuel on the fateful day while he was working on a farmland, and he poured acid on him.
He allegedly went ahead to deal his victim machete blows.
