The love journey set to bind VP Osinbajo and billionaire-businesswoman Shagaya as in-laws
Oluwadamilola, the eldest daughter of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, is getting married to Shamsideen Oluwaseun Bakare, one of the sons of billionaire businesswoman, Hajiya Bola Muinat Shagaya.
Following the announcement of their wedding which is fixed for March, there have been mixed reactions as many criticised Damilola’s decision to marry someone who hails from a Muslim family.
According to a source, Oluwaseun first met Damilola during the monthly Divine Encounter programme at the Abuja stadium by the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
From then on, he would regularly sight her at the divine encounter program and at the monthly Holy Ghost service but never had the chance to have an up-close conversation with her.
The source further disclosed that he was lucky to meet her one day at an event in Abuja, he didn’t miss his chance to talk to her at the event.
From then on, they moved from being just friends to the announcement made by family members.
It was also confirmed that Oluwaseun is a Christian and a worker at the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
