Late Super Eagles coach, Shuaibu Amodu’s 12-year-old son dies
A little over a year after former Nigeria’s Super Eagles’ boss, Shuaibu Amodu died, the family mourns again after losing his teenage son.
The 12-year-old boy, Suleman Amodu, was said to have died in Lagos on Sunday after a brief illness.
Reports say Suleman, the youngest child of the late tactician, was, until his death, a student of Navy Secondary School, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Shuaibu Amodu died in June 2017 aged 58. He was buried in his hometown in Etsako East Local Government Area of Edo State.
A source confirmed Suleman’s death to newsmen on Wednesday, saying the family was still in great shock.
“The boy is dead. He died on Sunday and was buried according to Muslim rites on Sunday in Lagos. The family is in serious shock at the moment. He was the last child,” he said.
