LASG invites Otedola bridge fire victims for compensation

The Nigeria Insurance Association is putting plans in place to compensate owners of vehicles that were burnt in the Otedola Bridge tanker explosion incident about a month ago.

The Lagos State Government has invited the owners of vehicles lost to the incident for a meeting of assessment for compensation.

All vehicle owners affected by the incident are to meet on Tuesday, July 24, at the Bagauda Kaltho center, Alausa Ikeja, Lagos to deliberate on the report of the investigation conducted by the Ministry of Transportation.

“The Nigeria Insurance Association is requesting for access to the damaged vehicles in order to take necessary steps in ensuring proper payment of compensation to the victims and their families,” a statement released on Monday said.
