JUST IN: Anxiety, tension as INEC officially declares collation center open in Abuja
Anxiety and tension have risen among Nigerians as INEC officially declares the National Collation Centre open at International Conference Centre (ICC), Abuja, Sunday evening.
Nigerians have been eagerly awaiting the announcement of results since the poll was conducted on Saturday.
President Muhammadu Buhari and Atiku Abubakar remain the front-runners for the presidential seat.
INEC Chairman Mahmood Yakubu, shortly after the announcement, said collation exercise will continue at 11a.m on Monday (tomorrow).
INEC had earlier warned Nigerians through a statement on Twitter to desist from publishing unsubstantiated results.
