“INEC officials collecting N1,000 bribe for PVC collection” – Lagos resident
A resident has alleged that INEC officials at Lagos Model School, Marwa centre, are making the PVC collection process tedious for those who aren’t willing to part with N1,000 sum.
She said the officials were collecting the bribe to distort the order of arrangement.
Okorafor said, “Been here since 7am, put my name on the list and now if you have 1k you will enter before everyone.
“The man said he was with the chairman (INEC) yesterday so nothing can happen to him.”
She also alleged that the man “threatened us with DSS because we got angry that they weren’t following due process.”
The officials, Okorafor said, close by 2pm.
Oh and the center closes by 2pm too. That’s Sasha P walking in by almost 12 noon while we’ve been here since 7am @inecnigeria @instablog9ja @lindaikeji @Omojuwa @GuardianNigeria @THISDAYLIVE @toluogunlesi pic.twitter.com/u0bXZyKT5N
