How the states voted: Full result of the 2023 Presidential election

On Wednesday, March 1, 2023, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the candidate of the ruling party, Bola Tinubu, as Nigeria’s President-elect.

In what was a hotly contested election, Tinubu won 13 states, while Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) also won in 12 states. Peter Obi of the Labour Party won 11 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja.
