Houseboy sells boss’ N10m SUV for N50,000
A houseboy identified as Mayowa Ogunmola has been arrested for allegedly stealing and selling his boss’ N10m Toyota Prado Land Cruiser for N50,000.
Lagos Police said it received received a complaint from Mayowa’s boss, Femi Mayaki, a resident of Anthony Village, on July 18.
Mayaki alleged that Mayowa made away with his Toyota Prado Land Cruiser Jeep containing personal documents.
The houseboy was eventually traced to Ikorodu, Lagos, and was arrested.
He confessed to the crime, claiming to have handed the car over to one Femi Ayoade in Ijeba-Ota, Ogun State, to find a buyer.
Femi, who was also apprehended by the police, said he sold the to one Azeez Ibrahim, at the rate of N50,000.
This led to Azeez’s arrest and the car was recovered.
All three suspects are in custody pending conclusion of investigations.
