For the next three years, stone throwers will now be arrested and jailed; or come under live fire from police rifles.
Under the new order the minimum penalty for throwing stones or incendiary devices, commonly called Molotov cocktails, is a four-year prison sentence for anyone over age 18; the maximum sentence remains 20 years.

It’s all happening in Israel.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the maximum fines and punishments for minors will be determined.
The Jerusalem Post reported that police in Jerusalem are now authorised to use the “low-powered Ruger sniper rifle” in Jerusalem, whereas it is currently only allowed in the Palestinian Territories.
However, this doesn’t mean those of us in Nigeria should continue hurling stones at folks we don’t like.
